* REVISIONS – the Village of Minooka requires a submission letter from the design professional identifying each change and each revision must be bubbled or clouded with a key or notation made to match revision block on drawings.

Plan Submittal:  Four (4) Complete Paper Sets and One (1) Electronic File of the Following:

Architectural:
  1. Soils report
  2. Specification book (when applicable)
  3. Cover sheet to include the following:
    1. Building code summary (occupancy, construction type, allowable area increase
    2. Project data (project name, architect, engineer, contractor)
    3. Area summary (square foot of each occupancy)
    4. Drawing index
    5. Location map
    6. Exiting diagram (required exit locations, rated corridors)
    7. Fire resistive wall, floor and ceiling assembly schedule
  4. Site plan
  5. Civil engineering plans
  6. Landscape plans
  7. Floor plan, not less ¼” = 1’0”, large buildings over 50,000 square feet 1/8” =1’0”
  8. Exterior elevations
  9. Door/window schedules
  10. Interior elevations, floor and wall types
  11. Handicapped accessibility and restroom details
  12. ADAAG requirements
  13. Roof details
  14. Stair details
Structural:
  1. Foundation plan
  2. Roof framing plan
  3. Floor framing plan
  4. Foundation details
  5. Structural details (connections, posts, columns, beams, headers, and joists)
  6. Shear wall plan
  7. Structural schedules, specifications and calculations
  8. Stamped truss drawings / calculations
  9. Provide complete general structural notes with all disciplines to be performed by special inspection per chapter 17 of the 2003 IBC. The agency to perform the inspections is required to provide all necessary information per 1703.1 at the time of submittal. The structural Engineer is required to submit in writing final acceptance of all special inspection reports before issuance of Certificate of Occupancy
Mechanical:
  1. HVAC plan
  2. HVAC details
  3. HVAC schedules and specifications
  4. Fire barrier penetration protection details and specifications
  5. Roof access details (ladder)
  6. For restaurants provide type 1 / type 2 hood schedules and details
Plumbing:
  1. Waste and vent isometric
  2. Gas line isometric
  3. Waste fixture unit load schedule
  4. Water fixture unit load schedule
  5. Water service pressure loss calculations for domestic and landscape
  6. Fire barrier penetration protection details and specifications
  7. Backflow prevention details and specifications
  8. Domestic and landscape water meter locations.
  9. Interceptor and sample vault specifications and details where applicable
Electrical:
  1. Electrical site plan
  2. Building electrical plan
    1. Power
    2. Lighting
  3. Electrical legend
  4. One-line diagram and service section detail with notes including;
    1. Available inrush current (AIC)
    2. Feeder and conduit sizes
    3. Sizes and types of transformers
    4. All grounding and bonding including sizes of grounding conductors and bonding jumpers
  5. Feeder schedule
  6. Panel schedules
  7. Emergency lights, exit signs (review chapter 10, 2003 IBC for exterior exit discharge lighting requirements)
  8. Series rated equipment: provide note and fault current calculations
