Citizen of the Year Award

The Village of Minooka invites you to nominate an individual who, through their selfless dedication of time and talent, has made a positive impact on Minooka and its residents. The Citizen of the Year is selected from nominations submitted by friends, family, and fellow community members. The 2025 Citizen of the Year recipient will be honored with an honorary plaque and recognized during the State of the Village Address on April 3, 2025.

Nomination and Selection Process Guidelines:

• Anyone may submit a nomination
• Individuals can submit multiple nominations
• Nominees do not need to be Minooka residents
• Nominees must demonstrate outstanding volunteerism and/or philanthropic dedication to the local community
• Nominations can be submitted online via the link below, hand-delivered/mailed to Village Hall, or emailed to jguldenbecker@minooka.com
• The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, March 7, 2025.
• A selection committee will determine the Citizen of the Year award winner
